Aspects of Community Life

The Aspects of Community Life section of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Community Life Awards 2008 aims to give community groups and locally-run facilities recognition for the huge, positive impact they have on community life.

There are awards for themed projects, as well as an award for Community Building of the Year. The categories for themed projects are Children and Young People in the Community, Older People in the Community, Environment and the Community, Enterprise in the Community and Sport in the Community.

The judges will be looking for community-led projects that have made the best of local opportunities to maintain and enhance the quality of a particular aspect of community life.
